Doris Hsu
Doris is a U.S.-trained tax lawyer and has more than 20 years of experience advising individuals and businesses on the U.S. tax ramifications of their transactions. She specializes in cross-border matters and routinely advises clients on the planning and implementation of inbound and outbound matters such as: (1) Pre-immigration tax planning to the U.S., (2) Foreign investments in the US debt/equity and real estate, (3) Estate/trust/gifting and wealth succession from non-U.S. donors to U.S. beneficiaries, and (4) Expatriation (relinquishment of U.S. green card or U.S. citizenship).
Doris's practice area also includes handling tax audits and offshore asset/income compliance with the IRS. She is fluent in English, Chinese and conversational French.
